Words in a context may acquire additional lexical meanings not fixed in the dictionaries, what we have called contextual meanings. The latter may sometimes deviate from the dictionary meaning to such a degree that the new meaning even becomes the opposite of the primary meaning. What is known in linguistics as transferred meaning is practically the interrelation between two types of lexical meaning: dictionary and contextual.

The Cold War was a war that literally wasn’t typical war. There weren’t any fighter planes flying over countries dropping bombs, no tanks no ground troops, no actually deployment of missile, and no ground troops. However there were a stockpile of nuclear weapons, money was being spent like an actually War was being fought, propaganda, and there were two superpower enemies but no actually fighting occurred. The Cold War (CW) was a big arms race that was started after World War II between the United States and the Soviet Union (USSR). There were two dominant powers fighting to become the dominant power. The world became bipolar because of this war. The CW was the war between ideologyies, Democracy and Communism.

Die Freilichtbühne ist ein großer Kunst- und Sportkomplex. Er wurde 1988 kurz vor dem ersten internationalen polnischen Musikfestival eröffnet. Den Entwurf hat der Architekt W.Babaschkin ausgearbeitet. Die Bühne nimmt 430 qm ein. Dieser Raum genügt sogar für den Auftritt von einem Chor aus 1500 Menschen. Das Einzige, wofür diese Bühne klein ist, sind die Blumen, die die Zuschauer aus Dankbarkeit den Künstlern schenken.

1)Im Jahre 1945 wurde die Brester Pädagogische Hochschule gegründet. 1949 wurde sie der Name A.S. Puschkin verliehen. Im Jahre 1995 bekam die Hochschule den Status einer Universität. Seit dieser Zeit gilt sie als die Brester Staatliche Universität Namens Puschkin.
Die Hochschule bildet Lehrer heran. Das Studium an der Hochschule dauert 5 Jahre. Die Studienformen sind: das Direktstudium und das Fernstudium. Die Weiße Rose war eher ein Freundeskreis. Kern der Gruppe waren die Geschwister Sophie und Hans Scholl, Christoph Probst, Willi Graf, Alexander Schmorell und Professor Kurt Huber. Der Text informiert darüber, dass zwischen 1942 und 1943 verbreiteten sie sechs Flugblätter, in denen sie zum Widerstand gegen das NS-Regime aufrief.

Der Begriff Geschichte bedeutet einerseits Fiktion, hängt mit Romanen, Krimis und Märchen zusammen und wir gewähren ihnen das Prädikat "könnte-so-gewesen-sein". Geht es um ein Ereignis, bekommt das* Wort eine ganz andere Bedeutung. Es handelt sich nicht mehr um bloße Fiktion, sondern um den Bericht eines vergangenen Geschehnisses, etwas Realen. Was über dieses Ereignis berichtet wird, ob in Büchern, im Fernsehen oder auch in der Schule, das wird meist vertrauensvoll als die Wahrheit akzeptiert.
