Personally speaking, I doubt that newspapers will get extinct. First of all, we should keep in mind a circulation of popular newspapers. Modern, well-known newspapers have a great target audience, and it is unlikely that a person who signed up for a year would suddenly change his mind. Of course, web-sources of information are thriving now due to their own benefits such as interactive supplements, a possibility to provide an online live-coverage and, literally, up-to-the-minute news. You don’t have to wait until the next morning in order to purchase a newspaper to get a view of the situation.
Do you think newspapers will really die out? Why/Why not? If so, when? What are your predictions (предсказание, прогнозы)?

Anyway, I do believe that despite all cutting edge technologies newspapers will survive. As it was mentioned in the text “Future of printed media”, you don’t need batteries to read a newspaper and you may take it anywhere. Not to mention that advertising in newspapers are not such annoying as in the internet.
To my point of view, newspapers and modern media will develop parallel.
