Времена глаголов в английском языке

Задание 1. Преобразуйте прямую речь в непрямую, применяя правило согласования времен.

1. He said: “They were playing football well.”(P.C.—P.P.C.)

    Он сказал: Они играли в футбол хорошо.

    He said they had been playing football weel.

2. They wrote us: “He promised to visit us.”(P.S—P.P.)

    Они написали нам: Он обещал навестить нас.

    They wrote us he had promised to visit us.

3. I told: “I will not sit here and watch your actions.”(F.S.—F.S. in the    

    Past)

    Я сказал: Я не буду сидеть здесь и смотреть ваше выступление.

    I told I would not sit here and watch your actions.

4. She answered: “It had been long ago.”(P.P.—P.P.)

    Она ответила: Это было давно.

    She answered It had been long ago.

5. He tells: “You are wrong.”(Pr.S.)

    Он говорит: Вы неправы .

    He tells you are wrong.

6. He told: “We will have done it by then.”(F.P.—F.P. in the Past)

    Он сказал: Мы сделали это.

    He told we would have done it by then.

7. They informed us: “Our boss has asked to do it.”(Pr.P.—P.P.)

    Они сообщили нам: Наш босс попросил это сделать.

     They informed us our boss had asked to do it.

8. My sister said: “I had had enough.”(P.P.—P.P.)

    Моя сестра сказала: C меня достаточно.

    My sister said I had had enough.

9. She said: “He always brings good news.”(Pr.S.—P.S.)

    Она сказала: Он всегда приносит хорошие новости.

   She said he always brought good news.

10.We promised: “Everything will be fine.”(F.S.—F.S. in the Past)   

     Мы обещали: Все будет хорошо.

                   We promised everything would be fine.

 

Задание 2. Преобразуйте прямой вопрос в косвенный, обращая внимание на порядок слов и применяя правило согласование времен.

1. He asked: “Why are you here?”(Pr.S. to be—P.s. to be)

    Он спросил: Почему вы здесь?

    He asked why I  was here.

2. She questioned: “Did you see him?”(P.S.—P.P.)

    Она спросила: Ты видел его?

   She questioned if I had seen him.

3. They interrogated: “Where were you?” (P.S. to be—P.P.)

    Они допрашивали: “Где ты был?”

    They interrogated where I had been.

4. You inquired: “What will be the outcome?”(F.S.—F.S.in the Past)

    Ты задал вопрос: “Какой будет результат?”

    You inquired what it would be the outcome .

5. They queried: “Where is he working?”(Pr.C.—P.C)

   Они запросили: “ Где он работает?”

    They queried where I was working.

6. She wanted to know: “Had they bought everything?”  (P.P.—P.P.)

     Она хотела знать: “Oни купили все?”

     She wanted to know if they had bought everything

7. I asked: “Why did you do it?”(P.S.--P.P)

    Я спросил: “Зачем ты это сделал?”

    I asked why he had done it.

8. They questioned: “Will you have parked on your own?”(F.P.—F.P. in

     The Past)   

    Они спросили: “Вы припаркуетесь самостоятельно?”

    They questioned if I would have parked on your own.

9. He asked: “What are you planning?”(Pr.C.—P.C.)

    Он спросил: “Что  ты планируешь?”

    He asked what I was planning

10. We inquired: “Do you need any help?”(Pr.S.—P.S.)

      Мы спросили: “Вы нуждаетесь в какой-либо помощи?”

      We inquired if you needed any help.

 

 

Задание 3. Преобразуйте условные предложения, относящиеся к настоящему, в условные предложения, относящиеся к прошлому.

1. If you came on time, we would help you.

    Если бы Вы приехали вовремя, то мы помогли бы Вам.

    If you had come on time, we would have helped you.

2. If he used the proper tools, the result would be better.

    Если бы он использовал надлежащие инструменты, то результат был бы лучше

   If he had used the proper tools, the result would have been better.

3. The chief would be happier, if you made no mistakes.

   Руководитель был бы более счастливым, если бы Вы не сделали ошибок.

   The chief would have been happier, if you had made no mistakes.

4. If they mentioned their problems, their friends would propose their assistance.

   Если бы они рассказали о своих проблемах, то их друзья предложили бы им

   помощь.

    If they had mentioned their problems, their friends would have proposed their

    assistance.

5. If it were warm, we would not wear our hats.

    Если бы было тепло, то мы не носили бы наши шляпы.

    If it had been warm, we would not have worn our hats.

6. They would see a new play at the theater, if they bought the tickets.

    Они видели бы новую игру в театре, если бы они купили билеты.

    They would  have seen a new play at the theater, if they had bought the tickets.

7. If he were not so selfish, he would not have so many problems.

    Если бы он  не был так эгоистичен, то у  него не было бы такого количества 

    проблем.

    If he had not been so selfish, he would not have had  so many problems.

8. We would be more prosperous, if we lived in another country.

    Мы были бы более преуспевающими, если бы мы жили в другой стране.

    We would have been more prosperous, if we had lived in another country.

9. If the workers had bigger salaries, they would work more.

    Если бы у  рабочих были большие зарплаты, то они работали бы больше.

    If the workers had had bigger salaries, they would have worked more.

 

10. If they changed at least anything, it would be better.

      Если бы  они изменили, по крайней мере, что-нибудь, то это было бы лучше.

      If they had changed at least anything, it would have been better.

 

 

 

Задание 4. Раскройте скобки, употребив сказуемое в нужном времени, обращая внимание на тип условного предложения.

1. If the weather (be) better yesterday, we (go) to the country.( III тип у.п.)

                  Если бы  погода была вчера лучше, мы бы поехали в деревню.

    If the weather had been yesterday, we would have gone to the country.

2. If the weather (be) better tomorrow, we (go) to the country.( I тип у.п.)

    Если погода будет  лучше завтра, мы поедим в деревню.

                  If the weather is better tomorrow, we will go to the country.

3. If he (feel) worse he (not come) today. So do not wait for him.( I тип у.п.)

    Если он почуствует  себя хуже, он  не придет сегодня. Поэтому не ждите его.            

    If he feels worse he will not come today. So do not wait for him.

4. If he (feel) worse he (not come) today. But he came.( II тип у.п.)

    Если бы он чувствовал себя хуже, он бы не пришел сегодня. Но он пришел. 

    If he felt worse he will not come today. But he came.

             5. If you (eat) something bad, you (have) a stomach ache.( I тип у.п.)

                  Если вы съедите что то плохое, у вас будет болеть желудкок.

                  If you eat something bad, you will have a stomach ache.

             6. If they (take) some money from their parents, they (start) their own business. But they

                  did not do it.( II тип у.п.)

                  Если бы они приняли немного денег от своих родителей, они бы пустили их в

                  собственное дело. Но они не  сделали это.

                  If they took some money from their parents, they would let their own                      

                  business. But they  did not do it.

               7. If he (not break) the law, he (not be) in the prison.( II тип у.п.)

                   Если бы он не нарушил закон, он бы не был в тюрьме.

                   If he did not break the law, he  would not be in the prison

              8. If you (wake up) on time tomorrow, you (be not) late.( I тип у.п.)

                   Если вы проснетесь вовремя  завтра, вы не будете поздно.

                  If you wake up on time tomorrow, you will not be late.

              9. If they (agree) to my conditions, I (be) glad.( I тип у.п.)

                   Если они согласятся на мои  условия ч буду рад.

             10. If my parents (come) to see me last weekend, I (take) them to the new restaurant

                    with me.( III тип у.п.)

     Если бы мои родители приехали, чтобы увидеть меня в прошлые выходные, я

     бы взял  их в новый ресторан с собой.

     If my parents had come to see me last weekend, Iwould have them to the new

     restaurant with me.

Задание 5. Переведите следующие предложения, обращая внимая на правило согласования времен:

1. Она сказал, что любит  американские фильмы.(Pr.S.—P.S.)

  She said she liked American movies.

2. Он сказал, что пробыл  вчера дома весь день.(P.C.—P.P.C.)

    He said he had been spenting yesterday at home all day 

3. Мы написали, что у  нас нет никаких новостей.(Pr.S.—P.S.)

    We wrote that we had no news.

4. Он спросил, как пройти  в библиотеку.(Pr.C.—P.C.)

    He asked how he was getting to the library.

5. Он написал, что хорошо себя чувствует.(Pr.S.—P.S.)

    He wrote that he  felt good.

6. Они сообщили, что президент уехал из страны. (P.S.—P.P.)

    They reported that the president had left the country.

7. Он пообещал, что напишет  об этом завтра. (F.S.—F.S. in the Past)

    He promised that he would write about it tomorrow.

8. Она сказала, что будет  работать над этим отчетом, пока  не закончит. (F.P.C.—

     F.P.C. in the Past)

    She told that she would have been working over this report, untill she finish.

9. Он сказал, что закончил работу вовремя.(P.S.—P.P.)

     He said that he had finished the work on time.

10.Он сказал, что не забудет это правило никогда.(F.S.—F.S. in the Past)

     He said he would not forget this rule never.
