«The role of Internet in modern life»

Everyone cannot imagine modern life without the Internet. All of us have mobile phones, tablets and laptops with supporting Internet access. Some people believe that Internet has a good influence on users of it. Others don’t think so. To my mind, we cannot do without this informational, educational and entertaining system, which connect all people in the World.

The advantages of Internet are obvious. First of all, Internet gives a chance to communicate with all people around the World. So, it is cheaper than travelling, because all you need is click the web-browser. Secondly, it does not take a lot of time to find necessary information. For example, everybody knows how it is difficult to look thought the text to find essential words.

Other people however have a different point of view. Firstly, they believe that using the Internet is bad for health. It brings to arthropathy and illnesses of eyes. Moreover, a lot of users meet the annoying spam and viruses, which are added by hackers. So, this problem prevents using the Internet and hampers the process of work.

I totally disagree with these statements. In the first place, nowadays more and more people have ailments, which do not give them a chance to communicate with other people face-to-face. For example, bedridden and wheelchair-bound men and women usually do not have an opportunity to go for a walk and talk about their problems. As a result, the Internet is one way to talk with people by the use of chats and social networks. Secondly, there are many special programs and software, which help users to struggle against spam and viruses. Consequently, using the Internet becomes safety and comfortable.

To sum up, Internet gives a lot of opportunities for people, who use it while searching the information, chatting with friends and foreigners and for people, who can not talk with people face-to-face because of theirs illnesses.
