Task №3

Северная  Ирландия

Северная  Ирландия-это наименьшая часть    Соединенного Королевства. Она занимает северо-восточную часть острова Ирландия  только  1/6  его территории.  Семь

столетий  Ирландия была колонной Британии. В  результате трудной борьбы ирландского  народа  за независимость большая  часть Ирландии приобрела статус  доминиона Британии в 1921г.

 

Гораздо позже,  в 1949г., Ирландия  была официально  объявлена   независимым  государством. Промышленный северо-восток  удерживался Великобританией, как ее наименьшая часть.

 

Население Северной Ирландии – 1,5 млн. человек.  53%  всего населения живет в  городах. Если кто-то  спросит ирландца, находящегося вдали от дома, о чем он скучает больше всего,  он скорей всего, ответит:  «Зелень». Неужели трава зеленее в Ирландии?  На самом деле ветра обычно дуют со стороны  Атлантического океана и делают воздух и почву теплыми и влажными. Трава превосходно растет в теплом климате и поэтому  остров выглядит так красиво.

 

Экономика  Северной Ирландии основывается на трех базовых отраслях промышленности: сельское хозяйство, текстиль, судостроение. Сельское хозяйство еще  остается самой важной отраслью экономики. Основой его являются небольшие семейные фермы, которые занимают около 72% всей земельной площади.

 

Белфаст, столица - это ведущий индустриальный центр и большой порт. Его основные отрасли промышленности -  это производство льна и другие текстильные отрасли, производство одежды, табака и техники. Здесь находится крупнейшая корабельная верфь. Северная Ирландия особенно известна производством льна, не смотря на  то, что эта отрасль текстильной промышленности находится в упадке.

 

Большая часть торговли Северной Ирландии –  с Великобританией и через  нее, поэтому происходит концентрация населения  и промышленности на восточном  побережье  рядом с Великобританией.

Voronezh

Voronezh is an Old Russian city. It was founded in 1586, to protect the southern Russian boundaries from the Tartar plundering raids.

At the end of the 17^th century Peter the Great went to Voronezh to build the first Russian Navy. The shipyard was exactly opposite the Admiralty Church. It was   built on the island.

Nowadays Voronezh is an industrial, educational and cultural centre. There are a lot of schools, universities and institutes here.

People, living Voronezh, like to go to the theatres, museums and art galleries. Some young people prefer going to the movie theatres.
